The Goal Club Initiative (TGCI) is a Faith based non-governmental organization dedicated to working with schools and the local communities to improve the quality of lives of the marginalized in society and ensuring their participation in issues affecting them.
The Goal Club Initiative (TGCI) has been in existence since 2012 working with schools and local communities to promote skills development. The organization has gone through different stages to reach where it is today. What started as an individual activity has evolved to become a national organization, supporting community development initiatives with it being registered with the NGO board as a local NGO in May 2014.
TGCI implements its programmes country wide in partnership with other strategic partners. In this, TGCI plays a facilitation role in jointly identifying the needs and concerns in the community through participatory research, designing and developing appropriate intervention aligned to the National Development Plan and Vision 2040 for Uganda. To reach all those who need our help, we also participate in development initiatives undertaken by a wide range of groups, such as governments, faith communities and other likeminded organizations.
We are currently not affiliated to any national or international NGO or organization. The Goal Club Initiative has visited selected districts in Northern Uganda and some districts in the central region like Apac, Gulu, Oyam, Luwero, Kampala And Wakiso with the focus of influencing the youth to live better independent lives.
